Celebrating Positivity and Kindness

This year, we combined Positive Noticing Day with Kindness Day- and what an uplifting celebration it proved to be! Throughout the day, children proudly wore their tags filled with kind, personalised messages. Their smiles as they received them, and the excitement of running home to share these messages with their families, made the occasion truly special.

Staff also felt the impact, with thoughtful notes shared between colleagues and leaders. Taking the time to acknowledge one another’s strengths created a wonderful sense of appreciation across the school.

Kindness and positive noticing play a vital role in helping children and adults feel seen, valued, and respected. These moments reinforce our school value of respect, nurturing a culture where everyone is recognised for the contributions they make. This, in turn, strengthens the positive learning environment we strive for each day.
