A brand new, purpose built provision for our Reception children
We are thrilled that following a successful Condition Improvement Funding bid the school was able to demolish the outdated modular buildings and replace them with a brand new purpose built provision for our Reception children.
The provision was formally opened on the 10th September 2019 and houses our Early Years children (Nursery and Reception) together with our Year 1 children. The provision also has an Intervention room with each Early Years classroom having their own suite of toilets!
Canopies and a soft surfaced playground complete with a winding red path way provides a safe outside area for the children to enjoy.
Dawn Sydee, Executive Officer of the Woodland Academy Trust together with Cllr Sue Butterfill, leader of the Swanscombe and Greenhithe Resident's Association and Chair of the School's governing board had the honour of opening the provision which was celebrated in Kent Online.
